His influence and presence was felt worldwide... spreading into many areas and realms. From nobility, to politics, to finance & commerce, and to the highest realms of spirituality and wisdom. He was truly a many that bridged many worlds....
Before the crucifixion, he walked among the Essenes, the Temple Priests, and the Royal Courts of Jerusalem. He commanded the largest merchant fleets of the seas and was a powerful member in Roman Governance. Yet he also was a man of God and Spirit...

Joseph’s Legacy—The First Christian Schools of Ancient Britain.

Long before Rome laid its claim, the first form of Christianity was already flourishing in the West... rooted not in empire, but in the land, in nature, in the sacred wisdom of the Christed path. Joseph of Arimathea played a foundational role in establishing what would be known as
“The Mother Church”... the first sanctuary of Christ’s teachings beyond the Holy Lands.
But this was no ordinary church, it was something far older and far deeper. Joseph helped seed the first Celtic Christian schools known as the Cors... sacred learning centers where the faith was taught in harmony with the wisdom of the land. And unlike later Christian institutions, these Cors were led by women... prophetesses and saints, known as the Golden Women.

It is said that Joseph walked these very hills, bringing with him the Christed Light and the Grail Mysteries, planting the first thorn upon the land, and seeding what would become one of the first Churches of the Isles.
On this in-person retreat, we will walk in his footsteps, visiting the sites most deeply connected to his arrival, his mission, and his spiritual legacy. Tucked away in the rolling hills of South Wales, the ancient site of Llanilid holds one of the most hidden yet powerful connections to Joseph of Arimathea. The very name Llan-Ilid is said to be named after Joseph himself, marking it as a place where his family gathered, his voice was heard, and perhaps... the first true Christian sanctuary was founded in the British Isles.

Meet Oliver
Oliver W Huntley
Oliver is a Wisdom Keeper, Writer, Storyteller, Teacher and Sacred Site Guide. Currently deepening his connection to the Land and Mysteries of Ancient Wales whilst writing his first book. He is on a soul mission to bring back lost Mystery School Wisdom and Initiations from the Druids, Gnostics and a lost Celtic Christianity.
Oliver is also a scholar specializing in the life and story of ‘Joseph of Arimathea’; who was an Uncle, mentor to Yeshua, guardian and protector to Mary Magdalene and Mother Mary. He is a passionate teacher for the ancient language of Aramaic spoken by Yeshua and the Essenes.
Oliver has over ten years of experience in holding land based retreats all over the world, specializing in the unification of the Gnostic and Druidic Mysteries of Avalon (Glastonbury) and Cymru (Wales). He has the rare ability to take you on an adventure uniting the worlds of Spiritual Initiation, Historical Knowledge and the Wisdom of Nature. Guiding individuals and groups through sacred journeys.
