At the beginning of Christianity, there was a flame.
A living light carried by the "Marys"... Women of Spirit and Wisdom... those who walked alongside Yeshua and carried the Christ not only in word, but in womb, water, and wildness.
This was the Path of the Feminine Christ
Yet from the very beginning, forces moved to suppress it.
Writings were destroyed. Teachings were silenced. Names were erased.
And the Golden Flame... that luminous thread of feminine truth...
was buried beneath doctrine, empire, and fear.
But it was never extinguished!

What were the original feminine teachings of the Christ Path? Who were the women known as “the Marys,” and what did they truly hold? How was the lineage of the womb erased from the narrative?

Who were the Golden Women?
Twelve women, gathered in a Cor (a circle of radiant flame and transmission), whose robes shimmered in gold and green, and whose lives embodied the Feminine Christed Path.
Each one was a vessel of love, prophecy, healing, and wisdom.
They were trained in the lineage of Mary Magdalene, whose teachings had traveled far beyond the Holy Land… and were now carried through the body and presence of St. Eurgain, the granddaughter of Joseph of Arimathea. These women stood at the intersection of two rivers...
the Magdalene stream and the Celtic Druidic mysteries.
Together, they formed something the world had never seen before…
a sacred synthesis of womb wisdom, earth reverence, and Christed Light.

The Groves, Wells, and the Sacred Flames

​Rooted in the royal Welsh-Druidic lineages, these women carried within them an ancient sovereignty. They practiced in sacred groves. They gathered beside holy wells and waterways. And they tended sacred flames, never letting the fire of the Christed Feminine go out.​

There was an Anointing.

A woman with alabaster in her hands... A heart full of devotion...
And a mystery deeper than doctrine unfolding at the feet of the Christ.
Mary Magdalene... the one who poured oil upon Jesus,
one who recognized, consecrated, and exalted the Christ in him.
This was more than ritual... It was transmission.
It was the Feminine Christed Light lifting, healing,
and preparing the Masculine to walk his sacred path.

The Word he carried became flesh through the Womb she held.

Each union a flame… each flame a node in the grid of light stretching across the land. 3 Days in Avalon​ - (Glastonbury, UK)
We begin our pilgrimage on the ancient Isle of Avalon... a sacred landscape where the Golden Women once walked, where the Celtic Magdalene flame still flickers beneath the mist, and where Joseph of Arimathea is said to have anchored the Christ Light upon these shores.
This holy land is woven with the memory of Druidic priestesses, early Christian mystics, and feminine wisdom keepers who gathered here in grove and well, temple and threshold. Avalon is more than a myth... it is a living veil, where the teachings of the Magdalene, the Golden Cor, and the Christed lineage still hum beneath the hills and flow through the sacred springs.
The Holy Waters of Avalon
The Golden Women once gathered beside sacred wells and springs, where the Healing and Holy Waters of Avalon have flowed for thousands of years…
These waters were central to their ancient rites... symbols of the Feminine Christed Light and the living presence of the Divine Mother within the land. Together, we will visit and attune to these sacred wells around Glastonbury… coming into deep communion with their radiance... touching, drinking, and, if you feel called, immersing yourself in their golden magic.

We will journey through the forgotten past of Avalon, visiting her ancient cathedrals, chapels, and sanctuaries... sharing hidden stories of Mary Magdalene, the Golden Women, and those who carried the Feminine Flame. These holy places reveal how the earliest Celtic Christian light was born from the union of the Magdalene lineage and Druidic wisdom long before modern Christianity emerged.​​

The landscape of Avalon is not just the backdrop... it is the living temple. Woven through the hills and ridges of Glastonbury are the echoes of the Golden Women and the sacred rites once held here.

We will journey into a hidden vale dedicated to St. Mary, the site of an ancient Cor... one of the Golden Women’s sacred schools.

Ancient Yew Trees
We will stand before the Ancient Yew Trees... silent witnesses to millennia of memory.
These trees are not only guardians of the land… they are living elders who were already old when the Golden Women walked here. Their gnarled trunks and crimson sap hold stories, rites, and secrets that only reveal themselves to those who come with reverence.
Many of these sacred yews stood watch as Eurgain and her sisters gathered beneath their boughs, consecrating flame, water, and word in sacred ritual. To touch one is to touch a bridge in time... to lay your hand upon a being who may have known them, heard their prayers, and held their tears.​
Sacred Waterfalls
We will also journey to the sacred waterfalls of Wales... shimmering veils of living water that once served as temples of baptism and purification for the Golden Women.

These cascades were far more than natural wonders; they were initiation sites, where the Feminine Christed Light was invoked through the element of water... cleansing, awakening, and consecrating both body and soul.​

Meet Oliver
Oliver W Huntley
Oliver is a Wisdom Keeper, Writer, Storyteller, Teacher and Sacred Site Guide. Currently deepening his connection to the Land and Mysteries of Ancient Wales whilst writing his first book. He is on a soul mission to bring back lost Mystery School Wisdom and Initiations from the Druids, Gnostics and a lost Celtic Christianity.
Oliver is also a scholar specializing in the life and story of ‘Joseph of Arimathea’; who was an Uncle, mentor to Yeshua, guardian and protector to Mary Magdalene and Mother Mary. He is a passionate teacher for the ancient language of Aramaic spoken by Yeshua and the Essenes.
Oliver has over ten years of experience in holding land based retreats all over the world, specializing in the unification of the Gnostic and Druidic Mysteries of Avalon (Glastonbury) and Cymru (Wales). He has the rare ability to take you on an adventure uniting the worlds of Spiritual Initiation, Historical Knowledge and the Wisdom of Nature. Guiding individuals and groups through sacred journeys.
